If you're a salmon lover, and especially if you're expecting guests over the holiday season, this box has all you'll need:

- (1) Nova Lox fillet (approx 1.25 lb)

- 2 lbs Smoked Salmon

- 4 lbs Sockeye Salmon fillets

The Nova lox fillet is a show stopper for a party or special event. A whole Sockeye Salmon fillet, brined and 'cold smoked' to give it a flavorful, slightly smoke flavor that pairs with almost anything, especially bagels and cream cheese.

The Smoked salmon is made from fresh, wild Alaskan Keta Salmon fillets which are flash frozen at the peak of freshness. The fillets are brined with salt, brown sugar, and dark Jamaican rum, and smoked in a hot smoker at 170 degrees. The result is a flavorful, smoky treat that is delicious in a wide variety of hors d'oeuvres or, if you're like the guys at Kodiak Rush, eaten as a snack. The smoked salmon portions range from about 0.6 to 1.2 lbs, so you'll receive about 3 or 4 pieces to total 2 lbs.

The Sockeye fillets are the premier salmon species, caught in Cook Inlet, one of Alaska's pristine salmon fisheries. These salmon were gill netted, iced, and brought back to the dock the same day they were caught. At the dock the guys from Kenai Red Fish Company were there to pick up the fish and immediately fillet then flash freeze them. You can't find Sockeye anywhere that are fresher than these. The fillets are packed in weights ranging from about 0.6 lbs to a bit over 1 lb, allowing you to thaw the amount you need for your meal. We recommend you cook a bit more than you need because leftover Sockeye makes a great salmon salad. You'll receive 6 or so pieces of fish to make up your 4 lbs.
